Pony Brags 2016
I have trouble uploading images, so I thought this would be a good place for brags and such related to swap and purchases.
Birthday Pony Items
FIrst up are some of the most important ponies I received this summer. My girlfriend has been beyond supportive of my hobby, and she has taken it upon herself to further influence my pony collection. She was able to get me some wonderful Glow N Show ponies for my birthday. I love the variation in the hair color for the two girls. I cannot think Cass enough for helping her and Daniel too since some of them came from his heard. These girls are beautiful! I should mention I didn't have the birthday party set either. The only thing I already had on the table was one of the Glow N Show ponies I picked up in my awesome flea market find over the summer. Much love to my girl and her amazing gift to me. I will love them always. Also I'm in love with this tiny tea set! It's totally pony sized.
This is a private swap with Ledbyrd. We're both August babies, so we thought it would be fun to do a private birthday swap. We both seemed to have a lot in common including our love for Nightlight and a unicorn obsession. I don't have many of the Unicornio figures, but I'm excited to add a new one to my collection. I love the pony she sent me, and I've never had one of these before with the spinning tail. The rehaired baby is also adorable! What I love most are the home made pieces (we went for a craft type swap). She made me a lovely hanging picture of Nightlight. It was damaged a little in shipping, but nothing I cannot fix. It will look beautiful in the pony room when I'm done fixing the room up. She also sent a cute box decorated in stars and moons and inside a Nightlight bracelet! It looks like she made her own little shrinky dink charm (am I correct?) either way I adore this package and the thoughtfulness that went into it. It was a wonderful birthday gift. I love that she made the little Alice, because she was actually my swap partner in a different swap and made me a Cheshire cat. Now they can be together in my Alice room!
This pony didn't actually come from a swap, but she is birthday related. My Aunt and Uncle send me money every year for my birthday to buy something for myself. I had just heard about her and had to order Genie. She just arrived Friday, and I'm in love with her symbols and glittery body. Oh so pretty! I might need another! Def plan to support and order more if they make more of these guys.
More Swaps
Ok I had Kelsey as a swap partner twice this summer! Talk about lucky, as she is one of the kindest people I've spoken to online and is a wonderful swap partner. I had her first for the Girly swap and then in the FB rehair group. Since I've posted brags for both I thought I would just add all the things I received from her together. There are no words on how thoughtful she is with each package she makes me. I can always tell they are full of love and unicorns which equals love. I love the bows she made for my real horse Nevada. I don't think Nevada was as amused.
private swap with Icecreamgirl from the arena. I loved getting some ponies that were from outside the U.S. and baby schoolbag omg! I adore her, and she goes well with me being a teacher. The pencil pouch I can use often since I actually still carry my pens in one and a neat little unicorn eraser. I was super excited about the socks! Don't they look awesome with my tattoo? Ignore my paler than Lord Voldemort skin and scratches from the demon cats.
Sweet-Stuff on the Arena has been a great person to get to know this summer. I attended her pony meet earlier during the summer (my first pony meet gathering of any kind) and had lots of fun meeting new people. We did more of a partial trade on items and then she bought some things from me. Anyway I got a cute Wizzer and some bell charms! Hooray.
See a trend in my private swap life? Lol, I did a Private Swap with Tak over the summer as well and got a box full of pony goodies. Several ones I don't have and some neat extras including a little unicorn key chain my dog keeps trying to steal from me and eat. What a jerk!
lledybry was my swap partner for the summer swap on the arena as well. She sent me some wonderful summery fun ponies, a neat coloring book and made me an awesome Cheshire Cat.
Texas Pony Meet Purchases and trade
This was my first pony meet of any kind, and I had tons of fun! It was nice meeting lots of new people, people that share an interest that doesn't' seem to be common where I live. I loved it! It was a fun day and evening of talking about ponies, trading and getting to know other people. I was super happy to bring home Paradise Estate as it's been a grail playset for me for ages, but I can never justify the shipping. Although here it's only a shell I can say over the summer I sort of almost have everything now except of course those small cups and forks ect.
Lol little winger Nightglider was my companion and of course I didn't buy her or the people at the meet! I just thought it was a fun picture to include. lol The Petite Nightlight I already owned, but the mini Dream Castle was a purchase.

Purchases
The Pony Tale girls were some if my first ones I wanted back, since I remember that show the most as a kiddo. I actually aquired them pretty quickly and in better condition than the ones I owned before. I might need to upgrade Clover at some point, but the others are really nice. Gypsy was given to me for free by a kind Arena member with a purchase. She is bald and plan to rehair her of course. Diamond Dreams, Brazilian Heart Throb and UK baby Ribbon all need their hair done and will get it when I have the opportunity. After buying PE I had an urge for more playsets and found the Sweet Shop very cheap on Ebay with everything but Scoops and her apron for a cheap price. I couldn't resist adding them as well.
Flea Market Find
Earlier in the summer I about died when I found a huge group of ponies for $65. There were fakies in there of course, but tons of petites, some more hard to find ones and ones I needed as set completers, fantasy fillies ect. There was just so much stuff! I don't even have better pictures yet of some of them just from the fact there were so many, and I haven't finished cleaning them up yet. I'll update this eventually. Most have stayed with me while some have found new homes. There was even pony wear...somewhere someone def got rid of their big pony herd.
